Shaun Brookhouse is an award winning hypnotherapist and trainer (in both the UK and US). He earned a Graduateship Diploma (First
Degree Equivalent) in Counselling and Hypnotherapy, a Masters Degree in Education Studies (researching the development of
training in hypnotherapy 1971-1998) and Doctorates in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Education & Health Services, a CertEd
(Teaching Credential), and Associateship Diploma from the College of Teachers in which the assessment was based in part on
the course he designed in clinical hypnosis, and Licenciateship in Training and Development.
Shaun is a Certified Master Instructor with the NGH and is the past Chairman of the National Council for Hypnotherapy,
one of the UK’s premier hypnotherapy societies. Additionally, he is a NLP Master Trainer .
He is Principal of the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences and lectures internationally on the subjects of Hypnosis
and Neuro Linguistics. He has received several Fellowships for his contributions to the hypnotherapy profession world wide.
In addition to Shaun's considerable academic and professional credentials, he has also received the manyawards for his work
within the profession including the Rexford L North Memorial Trophy for Life Time Achievement, the NGH’s highest honour
and the President’s Award, their second highest honour.
Fiona Biddle, BSc(Hons), DipCouns, CI, BCH, FNGH

Fiona Biddle has been in professional practice since the early 1990's. She has a BSc in computing, but changed career at
30 and has since gained many professional qualifications in therapeutic fields. She is currently studying for a post graduate
certificate in education (PGCE).
Fiona is a Board Certified Hypnotherapist and Certified Instructor with the NGH. She has been involved in the political
side of the profession for five years with her roles with the National Council for Hypnotherapy and the UK Confederation of
Hypnotherapy Organisations. She is also Principal of the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences. Fiona has co-written
a number of therapeutic course manuals and a book with Shaun Brookhouse entitled Building a Successful and Ethical Therapy
Practice.
In 2004 Fiona was awarded the President’s Award by the NGH for her work on revising the core curriculum and the certified
instructor’s training program for the NGH.
